Does an electric blanket use alot of electricity ? - electric blanket spares

I wondered if my electric bill would be much higher if I used my electric blanket.

I know that makes a space heater, the project to go.

The company bills its customers electricity per kilowatt hour. If you have something that consumes 1,000 watts for one hour consumes 1 kilowatt-hour. Or turn into something that consumes 100 watts consumed for 10 hours, including 1 kilowatt-hour. The number of watts a device uses times the number of hours you leave out that are consumed, the number of watt-hours. Parts by 1000 to get the kilowatt-hour.
The rate you pay for a kilowatt-hour varies depending on where you live. We pay about 8 cents per kilowatt-hour here in North Carolina. Some energy companies have "time of use" plans, where you pay more during the day and less at night. Have a look see on your electric bill, how much is a kilowatt hour.

An electric blanket might consume 200 watts () depending on configuration. So, if you are there for 10 hours, it consumes 2-kilowatt-hour. It would cost 15 to 30 cents, depending on your location.

No, they use about 10 cents per week, if allowed at all times. It is an efficient use of electricity ..

I have mine now. They are so comfortable;) is a control with Clickless too;)

Electric blankets use a large amount of electricity, but that is relative. In comparison to do with the heater not to use anything. Compared to waking, is an energy hog.

For electrical or heating or distance, the more electricity than the things that are not (such as your alarm clock, TV, etc.) used

If they do, why not try hot water bottles

Everything is relative. If you reduce the heating and electric blanket, it seems that it saves money. We use electric blankets. They are great. We came to the bed and sheets are heated and down. After this tour is usually me warm on my feet.
